FONZ-FM, in conjunction with students from Milwaukee Public Schools, have created an amazing, music themed cook book/activity book entitled, “For Those About To Cook…We Salute You”. With more than 120 pages, this limited edition, full color, bound book features recipes, games, art and hundreds of dollars in coupons from local retailers.
All the recipes are from or inspired by performers such as David Bowie, Beyonce, Dolly Parton, Patti Labelle, Elvis and others. Forget Julia Childs! With our cook book you can whip up culinary classics such as a Mariah Curry, Lady Gagaghnous, Flan Halen or Wu Tang Clams.
MPS students created the book’s art and in return, a portion of each book sale goes to supporting MPS art programs.
Sponsored in part by local television stations CW18 and My24, these limited edition books will be available for $15 each at all station events, online and at select retailers.
